Reiki classes
First, Reiki is quite easy to learn and use. There aren't a lot of techniques to master. Students are encouraged and taught how to use the Reiki energy on themselves and others, if they choose, in their daily lives. Just imagine how having a centering and relaxation tool, that is always with you and can be used throughout the day, can improve the quality of your life. Why learn Reiki?
Many individuals take Reiki as a compliment to other helping modalities such as nurses, counselors, teachers, massage therapists, and police officers are among a few to name. They take Reiki to support their own health as they support others. Many others choose to take Reiki as a means of personal empowerment and independence. Those who have had Reiki sessions have found them to be helpful and often choose to take the Reiki classes so they can do Reiki for themselves in between the Reiki, acupressure, and/or therapy sessions. This is especially important if an individual has ongoing mental health issues and/or health issues.
Since Reiki is an intelligent energy, Reiki knows what the individual needs for healing purposes. Although the individuals are just channeling the energy and can not take credit for the effects from Reiki, oftentimes individuals find that using Reiki on themselves and/or others brings a sense accomplishment and satisfaction.
Reiki can also be taught to children as young as 6 years of age, older individuals, whole families or just specific family members. In class, each person learns the many uses of Reiki including how to use Reiki on your animals. Reiki has been known to bring families together and build an incredibly strong bond between and among each in the family. Reiki is a journey of self-awareness and self-healing. Reiki does not replace medical treatment or therapy. Reiki is complementary to many medical and psychological treatment modalities.
Class Levels
There are three class levels in my lineage for learning Reiki. These levels are Reiki I, Reiki II, and Master Reiki. Although not considered a "level", The Reiki Master Teachers course is available for those who wish to go further and learn how to teach Reiki to others. I am trained in all levels mentioned above, however at this time, I am only teaching Reiki I and Reiki II. A brief explanation of Reiki I & II is provided below.
Reiki I
In the first class, you will learn the history of Reiki, meditation, instruction, receive Reiki I attunement, practice of hand positions for self and others. Students will be provided with a manual and a certificate of completion.
A deposit which will be applied to the total balance is due in advance to register and reserve your spot with the remainder of the balance due on the day of class. The classes last 5-7 hours with a 30 minute lunch break.
Reiki II
Students will engage in meditation, learn Reiki symbols, be given Reiki II attunement, and will be trained on how to use the symbols for distant Reiki and to enhance hands on Reiki. Reiki II opens the students to a greater flow of the Divine energy. Students will be provided with additional material for their manual and a certificate of completion.
Prerequisite: At least 21 days since Reiki I attunement; If your Reiki I teacher was someone other me, please bring a copy of your Reiki I certificate to class.
